Who We Are

We are a collaborative group of individuals, each with a diverse and unique background and skill set, that work together to solve and manage any variety of environmental issues. As a company, we have the ability to anticipate and respond to changing factors in the environmental market that keep us on the cutting edge – serving clients in the right place at the right time. We are successful because of our experience, flexibility, teamwork, and perhaps most important, our passion.

Everyone here loves immersion in the outdoors, and this appreciation for nature, for conservation, for forests, for wildlife, for water is what drives us.

What We Do

We are a group of ecologists, foresters, real estate developers, natural resources developers, marketers, and GIS specialists. We combine our multidisciplinary backgrounds in a unique approach to identifying and implementing opportunities to unlock ecological and economical value from the land.

Using our corporate history and broad team intellect and vision in ecological credit development and forestland management, we have developed one-of-kind techniques and strategies that generate attractive risk-weighted returns, while preserving and enhancing ecological value.

Ecological Credit Development

We develop opportunities to create value in real estate. We accomplish this primarily through the permitting, execution, and management of ecological projects designed to offset negative impacts to natural ecosystem environments, such as streams, wetlands, or endangered species habitats.

Most commonly these offsets are developed in the form of ecological credit banks, although other methods occasionally include permittee-responsible projects, onsite mitigation, or nontraditional mitigation outcomes.

Our banks are developed through two basic scenarios: fee title acquisition or purchase of mitigation use rights.

Throughout our mitigation banking history, we have successfully partnered with private landowners, impactors, investment funds, and venture capitalists.

Forestland Investment

We create holistic forest management plans to successfully meet client goals and have been setting the standard in the industry for more than 30 years.

We evaluate a given tract of land not just as a pure forest product, but as a potential package of forest resources—one that includes wildlife, recreation, alternative forest products, and environmental-conservation potential.

We provide customized services for family and private forest landowners, corporations, municipalities, governmental agencies, NGOs and nonprofits, and real estate appraisers.
