The Aledo Farmers Market is located at the Aledo Community Center parking lot and is open every Monday from March through November. A project of the city, it offers a variety of seasonal farm-to-table fruits, vegetables, fresh eggs, homemade jellies and jams, local honey, homemade tamales and salsa, homemade baked goods, and more! According to its organizers, the vendors change with the growing season so come and visit often! With a mission to ?encourage and promote the production of farm-to-table fresh produce within a 50-mile radius? as well as ?promote healthy eating? among other intentions, the city ultimate hopes to locate the market in a dedicated and permanent site.
