Dr. Lewis is a 2005 graduate of Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lewis performed a one-year medicine and surgery internship at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. He then continued his postgraduate training by completing an equine surgical residency at LSU. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). He is also an ACCC/AVCA Certified Animal Chiropractor. His primary interests are orthopedic surgery, upper airway surgery, lameness, and animal chiropractic. He is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Veterinary Orthopedic Society, American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.
