Today, with an environmental approach to every aspect of the company, Joseph Forest Enterprises Inc. continues to evolve through its two divisions: Green Friendly Land Clearing and Joseph Lumber. Whether the scope of the project includes a need for forestry mulching to promote a new stand of timber, or for the clearing of land for new site development, the most important objective of the Green Friendly method is to complete the task with the least amount of disturbance to the forest floor and wildlife, leaving behind a blanket of mulch that promotes erosion control and minimizes water run-off. For all the trees that leave the forest, the mission becomes making the most of them through green friendly practices when arriving at the Joseph Lumber plant, whether produced as lumber, wood products or wood biomass for alternative energy production.
