Dr. April Mackey began practicing at Towne South Animal Hospital in January of 2012. Dr. Mackey, a Shreveport Native, graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She previously lived and worked in Las Vegas, Nevada for 3 years prior to joining our team. Dr. Mackey graduated from Byrd High School and also attended Louisiana Tech for her undergrad degree.  Her veterinary interests include wellness, dermatology, internal medicine, and dentistry.
