The Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) was created to address the soil erosion issues, water quality and wildlife habitat. Michigan will partner with the federal government to preserve vulnerable land areas as part of a comprehensive effort to protect Michigan's land, water and wildlife.
- The Michigan Pheasant Restoration Initiative (MPRI) is a conservation initiative to restore and enhance Michigan pheasant habitat, populations and hunting opportunity on private and public lands.
