The Bear Lake Soil and Water Conservation District was organized in 1940. They have assisted cooperators in land leveling, rebuilding irrigation systems, drainage of semi-wet cropland and applying other soil and water conservation practices.
Mission
- Set high standards for the wise use of the natural resources in the District.
- Make technical, financial and educational resources available and coordinate them to meet the needs of the local land manager with conservation of soil, water and related natural resources.
