The mission of the Beaver Brook Association (BBA) is to promote the understanding of interrelationships in the natural world and to encourage conservation of natural resources through education and land stewardship.
Beaver Brook, a non-profit educational organization, was founded in 1964 by Hollis P. Nichols and Jeffery P. Smith, both Hollis, NH residents. With the continued support and generosity of hundreds of caring individuals over the years, Beaver Brook’s original 18 acres has blossomed into over 2,000 acres located in Hollis, Brookline, and Milford, New Hampshire. In addition to our natural resources, we also have meeting rooms, classrooms, libraries, and camping facilities. BBA relies on donations, program fees, and revenues from land management practices to help achieve our mission. The Friends of Beaver Brook supporters are an instrumental part of our donation network to help cover the costs of building and trail maintenance and educational programs.
