Black Dog Hunting Club extends the warmest of invitations to you and your companions to join us for excellent Arkansas waterfowl hunting in the "Heart of the Flyway". Black Dog has been family owned and operated by Todd and Gwen Brittain since 1986. We provide personalized service, comfortable lodging, extraordinary meals, and "guarantee a good time to be had by all."
A Day at Black Dog
At Black Dog, guests are awakened around 4:30 and served a continental breakfast with lots of hot coffee. Appointed guides will get with their hunting party for a quick gear check and to go over the AM hunt. Around 5:15 (depending on hunting destination), everyone departs in their own vehicles to the hunting areas. Once there, our guests are transported to their hunt site via 4-wheeler or boat (some areas can be accessed by walking). The AM hunt is never rushed. Our guides will typically begin to gather decoys around 10:30 (depending on weather and hunting conditions). Everyone is then transported back to their vehicles and we return to the clubhouse for a delicious, hot brunch. At this time, the guides will go over the possibilities for PM hunting. If our guests decide to PM hunt, they will leave the clubhouse around 1:30 and return after the hunt for a delicious evening meal. At Black Dog, we take great pride in our outstanding hunting areas and services provided.
