The Boyle County Conservation District has been serving the farmers and landowners of this county since August of 1946. The District is operated by a governing body of local people who devote their time and effort in educating, assisting and implementing conservation throughout our county.
The State of Kentucky gives local Conservation Districts the responsibility to plan and provide programs, which will promote the wise and orderly development, protection and conservation of all natural resources both on and off the farm.
The District operates under KY Revised Statutes, Chapter 262 and along with other Districts in the Commonwealth are subdivisions of state government.
