Woodland Forest Management Company is a subsidiary of Mason, Bruce & Girard, a full service natural resource consulting firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. MB&G acquired Woodland Management Company from Jim Wick and Dan Green in 2016. They had been working at Woodland Management since 1985. The company was originally founded in the 1950s by Dick Smith, a former employee of MB&G.

Brent has over 20 years of experience in forest management and forest inventory. He has worked on projects across the Western United States, Alaska, and Canada. He has hands-on experience with harvest planning, timber sale layout, log marketing, contracts, timber sale administration, road maintenance, silviculture, inventory, and budgeting. He currently serves on four advisory committees, providing forestry expertise to local schools and Counties. Brent has a B.S. in Forest Management from Oregon State University and an A.A.S. in Forestry from Mt. Hood Community College
