The Brevard County Soil and Water Conservation District was established in July of 1945 as a subdivision of Florida State government established under the Soil Conservation Act of 1937. For 59 years, the District has served to protect the natural resources of Brevard County.

Mission
To provide public service and assistance in natural resources management and protection by the promotion and application of agriculture best management practices, rural and urban water quality improvement, and environmental conservation education.
