Burlington County's Farmland Preservation Program. Established over 35 years ago, the mission of this program is to ensure that agriculture, in all its forms, remains an integral part of the County's landscape and economy.
In order to fulfill that mission, the County's Agriculture Development Board (CADB) has been tasked by the Burlington County Board of County Commissioners with implementing the strategies contained in County's 2008 Comprehensive Farmland Preservation Plan. Our efforts are intended to enhance the quality of life for all County residents. A thriving agricultural industry enhances our regional economy by providing jobs, scenic vistas, locally-grown food, and ensures that we keep the garden in the Garden State.
