We provide safety in Butte County through wildfire hazard education and mitigation. Our vision is to create communities with that are resistant to the devastating impacts of wildland fires.
We are a community non-profit organization that provides fire safety awareness to residents throughout Butte County, particularly in rural or woodland/chaparral areas. We administer no- or low-cost programs and resources to help reduce wild fire damage. Formed in 1998, we have a 17 member Board of Directors, 3 staff and numerous volunteers.
We work in partnership with volunteers and community fire safe councils throughout the County, including: Forbestown Ridge, Feather Falls, Berry Creek, Yankee Hill/Concow, Paradise, Magalia and Forest Ranch.
