Timothy Lindstrom is a nationally recognized specialist in conservation easement law and has written and lectured extensively on the topic.  He helped to initiate the Virginia Land Preservation Tax Credit, which has protected over 560,000 acres of Virginia land since 1999.  He also helped to draft and lead the national effort to enact the federal Farm and Ranch Protection Act [section 2031(c)) of the Internal Revenue Code] which has helped protect family farms and ranches throughout the United States.

Mr. Lindstrom and his family have contributed conservation easements on family farms in Virginia and Michigan.
