In May 2008, Energy Capital Partners and Redbird Gas Storage LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Martin Midstream Partners (NYSE: MMLP)) formed Cardinal Gas Storage Partners LLC, focusing on the development, construction, operation and management of natural gas storage facilities in North America. At Cardinal, we believe the natural gas storage business has compelling fundamentals and we expect that natural gas demand and volatility will increase in the future creating a need for additional natural gas storage capacity. Our goal at Cardinal is to create this North American footprint to take advantage of what we believe are positive storage fundamentals.

Cardinal currently operates both salt cavern and depleted reservoir gas storage facilities. Arcadia Gas Storage is an operating salt cavern natural gas storage facility in Bienville Parish, LA. Perryville® Gas Storage is a salt cavern project operating in Franklin Parish,LA. Cadeville Gas Storage is a depleted reservoir operating in Ouachita Parish, LA. Monroe Gas Storage is operating a depleted reservoir facility in Monroe County, MS.
