Charlie Hart's practice focuses on assisting local ranchers with their legal issues, including negotiating leases and agreements related to production of oil, gas, coal, uranium and other natural resources; estate planning focused on retaining family ranches and minimizing estate taxes; agricultural real estate purchases and sales; and numerous other legal issues particular to Wyoming's ranching community.
Charlie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University in 1961. Charlie went on to study law at Syracuse University, where he served as the Assistant Editor of the Syracuse University Law Review. After graduating law school in 1964, Charlie served as Army Judge Advocate General and, after attending the Defense Language Institute, he served as a Legal Advisor to the Judge Advocate General of the Iranian Army for one year. Charlie is a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.
When not practicing law, Charlie enjoys ranching, irrigating his fields south of Sheridan, and taking care of his red angus cows.
