Dr. Chris Algero is a lifelong native of New Orleans and takes great pride in his childhood neighborhood on St. Roch Ave. Dr. Algero graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1984 and Tulane University in 1988. Dr. Algero received his Veterinary degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Additionally, Dr. Algero has served as president of the Southeastern Louisiana Veterinary Association for two terms. Dr. Algero has also donated much time to the community serving Holy Name of Jesus parish as school board president and scoutmaster of Troop 55 a position he now holds for over a decade. Family has always been a core for Dr Algero; this is very obvious in the family manner in which he runs the Carrollton Veterinary Hospital - he treats every animal as if it were his own.
