Colin is a Massachusetts licensed forester with a Master in Forest Ecology from SUNY ESF (College of Environmental Science and Forestry). Colin grew up in Holyoke, Mass, and now resides in Conway. While in graduate school Colin focused his studies on Natural Resources and wrote his thesis on management of northern forests plagued by Beech Bark Disease “Response of American beech (Fagus grandifolia Ehrh.) after mechanical understory removal”. After graduate school, he worked as a Forestry Specials for Vermont’s Forest Parks and Recreation in the NEK and later joined Wigmore Forestry Service in Mass. Here, he was reacquainted with the forests of Massachusetts. In 2019, Colin joined Bay State Forestry Service.
