CONSERVATION LAW ASSOCIATES is a specialized legal services firm that provides assistance to land trusts and selected landowners who seek to preserve and protect agricultural land and natural resources in Montana and throughout the Northern Rocky Mountains. Conservation Law Associates also offers consulting services and educational presentations pertaining to private land conservation throughout the United States. Conservation Law Associates also represents a select number of private clients in conservation real-estate transactions.
ANDREW C. DANA is the founder and principal of Conservation Law Associates. A graduate of Stanford Law School in 1989, Mr. Dana has practiced land conservation and open-space real-estate law since 1991, representing land trusts in the Montana and consulting nationally on private land conservation law. He has written numerous articles and taught workshops and continuing legal education programs across the country for many years. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Dana served as a law clerk to Chief Judge James F. Battin, U.S. District Court of Montana.
