Hausman Architecture was established in 2008 in Sacramento, California, by Craig M. Hausman, AIA, with a vision of using thoughtful design to enhance the community and to leave a positive legacy of buildings in tune with the region's fabric. Through the firm, he seeks to maintain an informal and collaborative, yet collegial atmosphere and encourages creativity and teamwork with its clients and consultants.
The work of the office spans a wide variety of project types in greater Northern California region. Residential architecture includes single-family houses, townhouses, and work-force housing. Other projects include community facilities, commerical buildings and mixed use complexes. Preservation, restoration, adaptive-reuse and rahabilitation projects round-out the architectural portfolio; master-planning and site design within the projects is seen as a component of design which is integral to most projects and not easily seperable.
