Daniel’s advanced work experience has gained him recognition as one of the most respected in the industry. Daniel is certified as a Professional Wetland Scientist through the Society of Wetland Scientists; a Certified Wildlife Biologist through The Wildlife Society; and a Certified Forester through the Society of American Forester. A 1996 graduate of Louisiana State University, Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries as well as Forestry Management with minors in Zoology, Forestry and Botany. In 2001, Daniel received a Masters of Natural Science with a major in Geography and a minor in Oceanography and Coastal Science from LSU. Daniel has over 16 years of experience in natural resource consultation and management throughout the southeast and south central United States. His background and areas of expertise include habitat restoration, wetlands mitigation, wetlands delineation, wetland functional assessment, wetland permitting, geographic information systems and remote sensing. Delta Land welcomed Daniel in the summer of 2010, and his addition has been notable. He leads the technical team with proficiency and professionalism, managing multiple ecological projects on a daily basis.
