Mr. Lang is responsible for administrative and financial functions of client investments. This involves monitoring the forest management and financial activities that affect clients' investments and analyzing potential timberland investment opportunities. He is also responsible for client performance measurement. A Registered and Certified Forester and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Lang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management from Iowa State University in 1986. Previously, he worked for the Mississippi Forestry Commission, where he learned all facets of Southern forestry. In 1989, he became a district forester for Stone Container Corporation, managing 60,000 acres of timberland in central Mississippi. While working at Stone Container, Mr. Lang earned an accounting degree from Mississippi College. From 1996 to 1999 he was with Arthur Andersen LLP, where he performed tax and valuation services for a variety of clients, including timberland owners. Mr. Lang is a member of the Timberland Committee of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF).
