There is something special about digging your hands into the same dirt that has fed your family and community for 200 years. Taking care of our land and our neighbors is part of our family DNA. In 1925 my great great grandfather John Martin Lowe bought a school bus. He used that bus to take the local kids to school safely and then used it to carry loads of watermelon, fresh peaches and other produce up to Pell City to sell. Nearly one hundred years later his work has inspired me to reimagine that school bus into the modern world:
