Dharma Ridge Farm is a 10-acre family farm located about 20 miles outside of Port Townsend, Washington in the fertile Beaver Valley. We are farming on a portion of the old Embody homestead, an important part of the valley’s long farming history. The soil in this area is a combination of rich black peat and sandy loam. We are a WSDA Certified Organic farm, using natural and organic methods including cover crops, crop rotations, compost, and organic-approved soil amendments and preparations to ensure optimum soil health and tasty vegetables and berries for all of us. As a family, we enjoy eating well. We select our varieties to reflect our own tastes and need for variety and texture throughout the season. You can expect to see your old favorites as well as some heirloom and specialty varieties. We pride ourselves on our tomatoes. We like to grow a lot of them and select our varieties for optimum flavor. You can find us weekly at the Port Townsend Farmer’s Markets and, for C.S.A. members, on Wednesday afternoons at the farm itself. Our produce may also be found at the Port Townsend Food Coop and various restaurants in town.
