The Dove Creek Conservation District serves land owners in Dolores and Western San Miguel Counties by assisting them with natural resource stewardship. The district, with help from the Natural Resource Conservation Service, the Colorado State Conservation Board, the Colorado State University Extension Service and others, helps land owners implement programs designed to address resource issues such as the prevention of soil erosion, noxious weed control, irrigation and water management and range management, to name just a few.

The Dove Creek Conservation District will promote the stewardship of natural resources that will assure their sustained viability and thereby support a strong economic environment for present and future generations.
