A native of North Carolina, Dr. Rose first found a love for New Orleans when he attended Tulane University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He performed HIV vaccine research for several years outside Washington DC and during this time completed a master’s degree. Dr. Rose decided to make the move from the laboratory into veterinary medicine and graduated from veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. He primarily worked as an emergency clinician before partnering with Drs. Chris and Alex Baudy at Paris Road Animal Hospital.
