East Feliciana Parish, the heart of English Louisiana's Plantation Country, is noted for its scenic beauty and historic landmarks. East Feliciana parish has flown under the flags of Spain, France, England, and the Bonnie Blue (Republic of West Florida).  A legal, educational and commercial center in the days when cotton was king, the parish offers a cornucopia of quaint historic towns and unsurpassed country drives.

Agriculture & Natural Resources
Feeder calf and timber dominate agricultural production in East Feliciana Parish. Programs delivered to clientele include beef/forage field days, forestry forums, forestry and wildlife field days and pesticide trainings. Private pesticide applicators were trained in worker protection methods and learned techniques to minimize spray drift. A class was offered for non– cardholders to help prepare them for certification test. Home visits and personal interaction are the primary modes of delivering information.
