The East Providence Land Conservation Trust (EPLCT) is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization formed in 1979 to promote preservation of natural resources in the City of East Providence and to encourage sound land use practices for the benefit of the community. The land trust charter permits us to acquire property, through gift or purchase, to be used in carrying out our mission. The EPLCT manages Bridgham Farm, an 19-acre farm and meadow located in the Rumford section of the city. Bridgham Farm borders the Turner Reservoir and the Turner Reservoir Loop Trail.
The EPLCT also manages two non-transversable wetland properties along the Runnins River. One is located near Waterman Avenue and the other near the border with Barrington, RI and Seekonk, MA.
