Eric grew up on a farm in the northern part of Deuel County which is the area he resides in today. He attended South Dakota State Univesity and graduated in 2010 with a degree in wildlife and fisheries. Prior to joining Game, Fish, and Parks, he worked for Pheasants Forever in addition to previously working with the SDGFP for 2 years out of Webster, South Dakota. He has always been passionate about wildlife, habitat, and serving people. He gets a great sense of pride when assisting a landowner with a habitat project or educating someone on the value of what quality habitat means to wildlife.
