2022-23 Access Permit Changes

The process and requirements for participating in hunting, fishing, trapping, and other approved recreational activities at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center (FCJMTC) has changed.

All approved recreational activities (hunting, fishing, etc.) are governed through https://fortchaffee.recaccess.com. Before accessing Fort Chaffee WMA, you must possess a valid Fort Chaffee RecAccess permit and utilize the website to check in and out of your desired destination.

The list of Open Compartments and all other information related to the Fort Chaffee Outdoor Recreation Program can be found on the website. For more information, call 479-484-2226.

FCJMTC’s modern gun and muzzleloader special hunt permit holders are required to have a current (not expired) FCJMTC permit in order to participate.
Gates 16 and 22 open at 4:30 a.m. for the special hunts.
Public use compartments may be closed at any time due to military training.
