Fort Pond Native Plants in Montauk, New York, began as a vision of James Grimes many years ago. He saw the need for a place where one could find native & less common, worthy plant material, a place where you could learn and come to appreciate unique approaches to gardening and landscaping. Our garden center is in its 16th year of operations. Our landscape business, James C. Grimes Land Design, has been in business over thirty years. Both businesses operate out of the unique town of Montauk. This area is quite special & our native vegetation is something we take pride in. One of our constant goals is to promote the use of native vegetation no matter where you live. Take pride in your local flora and incorporate some into the landscape you create.
