In Georgia, the SFI® program makes a difference at the grassroots level. The SFI Implementation Committee in Georgia works across the forestry community to support programs that improve the practice of sustainable forestry on all lands.
SFI® program participants practice sustainable forestry on all the lands they manage. They also influence millions of additional acres through landowner outreach programs, and the training of loggers and foresters in best management practices.
The SFI program embraces a unique approach to sustainable forestry, recognizing that all forest landowners, not just SFI program participants, play a critical role in ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of our forests.
