Mr. Baker earned a B.S. degree in Forest Management from Clemson University in 1980. He has over 26 years of forest and land management experience throughout South Carolina. His areas of expertise include both pine and hardwood management utilizing fertilization, herbicides and improved seedling selection on large acreage tracts. Mr. Baker is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters where he currently serves on the Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Society of American Foresters and the South Carolina Forestry Association where he represents the ACF on the SC SFI Committee. Mr. Baker is a registered forester in South Carolina and a SC Prescribed Fire Manager. Mr. Baker is responsible for coordination of scheduling for personnel on a day-to-day basis. He also assists with managing and training the forest staff. He manages over 50,000 acres in South Carolina.
