Hawaii Land Trust protects the lands that sustain Hawaii, and teaches future generations to do the same. We believe that we share a common destiny with the land, and the well-being of ourselves and our children depends on the health of the land. The future is our kuleana. Hawaii Land Trust (HILT) is Hawaii’s islands-wide land trust that is both a Hawaii 501(c)3 nonprofit, and a nationally accredited land trust. We protect lands that are integral to Hawaii’s well-being and character, upholding our kuleana to these lands, and the communities they are in, through thoughtful stewardship that deepens community connection to, and builds reciprocal relationships with aina.
