Dr. Heather Wyatt was born and raised in Central Oregon on a small farm with a variety of animals. Dr. Wyatt’s passion for helping animals began one night when one of the horses got out and was hit by a log truck. Watching the veterinarian come out and doctor him, she was hooked. She knew then and there that she would join the veterinary profession one day. Dr. Wyatt later received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oregon State University. The road to veterinary school took her cross country and into Canada to Prince Edward Island to attend Atlantic Veterinary College. After graduation she had her heart set on returning to Oregon, but the economy and fate took her to South Texas where she had completed externships while in school.
