Raising market & dairy goats, heritage hogs and poultry. Independence FUNie Farm is working to become the hub for our Richmond farm-based high school (LOCAL STEW U), and a showcase for sustainable practices, as well as science enrichment programs for youth, and teacher education workshops and seminars. One goal of the farm and the school is to bring the world of ocean science and research inland to our rural and agricultural areas in an effort to promote more sustainable agricultural practices that keep our water sources safe and clean.
