In 1992, Dr. Jimmy Maxwell joined the practice. Dr. Maxwell graduated from Mandeville High School in 1981 and from there went on to graduate from LSU undergraduate school in 1985 with a degree in Petroleum Land Management. After working 3 years as a land man, he decided this occupation was not going to satisfy him for life. He decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, something he wanted to do since childhood. In 1992, that goal was achieved. Two years after joining Dr. Ritch at RVH, Dr. Maxwell became a partner in the practice.
