Jason earned his degree in forestry in 1996 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. He has worked as a technician with the Illinois Natural History Survey and as a forester for Westvaco Paper Company in western Kentucky. Most recently, he coordinated log sales at a veneer mill in Edinburgh, IN. Jason also has a teaching certificate and taught elementary school for five years. He enjoys spending his time off with his wife and two children.
