Experience

Jeremy began his forestry experience at the NCSU Forest Nutrition Cooperative where he served as a technician while finishing up his college curriculum.  After graduating, he joined a forestry consulting firm in northeastern North Carolina where he worked for six years.  During his tenure there he supervised forestry labor crews, coordinated forest service contracts and performed a full range of land management and silvicultural activities for private landowners and timberland investment management organizations.  From 2003-2004, Jeremy coordinated and supervised timber salvage efforts following Hurricane Isabel.  In 2006, he returned to Moore County where he was a procurement forester with Squires Timber Company. While with Squires he purchased market timber for both thinning and clear cut crews, developed niche markets for forest products such as poles and mulch.  Jeremy developed a reputation for coupling sound forest management advice with his procurement efforts.  Jeremy joined Gelbert, Fullbright & Randolph Forestry Consultants, PLLC in 2007 and provides client services to corporations, government entities and private landowners in central and southeastern North Carolina out of the Lillington office.  Jeremy began serving on the North Carolina Tree Farm Program Board of Directors in 2014, serving as Vice President of Outreach and Communication, representing the Society of American Foresters and also serving on numerous Tree Farm committees.  Jeremy is a 3rd generation Eagle Scout and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys exploring, camping, canoeing, hunting and fishing with his family.
