Jessica is a Northern Plains Conservation Specialist working out of the NRCS office in Buffalo, South Dakota. She works with landowners to implement programs that enhance habitat for grassland birds while meeting their agriculture production needs.
She has worked in the Great Plains and Prairie Pothole Regions and researched birds in Saskatchewan, Texas, and Alaska where she collaborated with private landowners, NGOs, federal, state/province, and private entities.
Jessica has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Ohio University and a M.S. in Biology from the University of Saskatchewan.
