John is Vice President of Mitchell Forestry and Wildlife Services, Inc. He has practiced professional forestry for more than 30 years with industry and non-industrial private landowners in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.

His broad industrial knowledge and experience are now directed at helping non-industrial private landowners achieve their land and timber management goals in the most productive, cost effective manner with the greatest possible economic return. John became a real estate broker in 1999 to assist his clients in locating and/or selling timberland property for investment and recreational use.

John serves on the Mississippi Board of Registration for Foresters as a Board Member and is an active member of the Association of Consulting Foresters. He is a Registered Forester in Mississippi, a Tree Farm Inspector, a Certified Burn Manager, and a real estate broker in Mississippi and Tennessee. Other memberships include the Mississippi Forestry Association, the Tennessee Forestry Association, and the Forest Landowners Association.
