Dr. Katie Tarver is a Lake Charles native, graduating from Barbe High and attending McNeese State University before being accepted to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated from LSU SVM, earning her Doctor of Veterniary Medicine degree in May of 2010, and practiced at Downtown Animal Hospital and Bayou South Animal Hospital before joining the Pet Emergency Clinic doctor team. Dr. Tarver is proficient at all aspects of veterinary medicine, and has a special interest in surgery.
