Dr. Kelsey L. D. San Martin, a New Orleans native, moved out to the area in 2017 and started working at the Pet Emergency Clinic shortly after. Dr. San Martin received her Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Ecology and Management with a minor in Fine Art from Louisiana State University in 2011. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Prior to moving out to southwest Louisiana, Dr. San Martin spent a year in mixed animal practice in northwest Florida working heavily with horses and goats and a year in emergency small animal medicine in New Orleans. Some may recognize her as prior to the hurricanes, she worked at Southwest Louisiana Veterinary Clinic in Sulphur for the last 3 years.
