We started researching alpacas in 1999 and got them on our farm in the fall of 2000, so we have been enjoying having our herd here for many years now! Other alpaca breeders and shearers from Colorado, from out of state, and even New Zealand, plus veterinarians, have commented on how friendly our animals are. They have said things like, Wow, you must spend a lot of time with your animals--it shows!We offer hands on training for giving shots, doing nail trims, haltering and leading, etc. as well as fiber processing. Alpacas are a continous learning experience for all of us!
