Comments: Previously this site was developed for agricultural use as a cattle ranch and for silviculture. As a consequence, lands were cleared, cypress and pine were cut, and drainage 'improvements' were constructed that caused historic wetlands to disappear or diminish. The bank's main goal will be to restore the site to a condition similar to its pre-development state and to protect it as a wildlife habitat preserve. The functional assessment method used is M-WRAP.
