The Little Kanawha RC&D Council is a non-profit organization that is sponsored in part by the County Commissions and Conservation Districts in Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wetzel, Wirt and Wood Counties. The RC&D also is a partner with the State Conservation Agency and collaborates with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and other agencies to improve the area's natural resources and economy.  Council members prioritize local concerns and lead efforts to implement projects to meet community needs.

What does Little Kanawha RC&D Do?

As a non-profit organization, Little Kanawha RC&D Council has the ability to leverage federal, state, local and private dollars to accomplish projects. We also provide professional consulting services to communities in project management, networking, fund raising, grant writing and resource management.
