We purchased a special 110 acre parcel of land located in the quaint and quiet town of Buxton, Maine which we make a living on and call home. We have worked very hard to restore the 1815 farmhouse, perennial beds, the growing fields, and the walking path along the Little River. The land has responded back by producing acres of beautiful and bountiful summer cutting flowers, hundreds of uniquely shaped hard-shell gourds to craft on, sweet, juicy, and early organic strawberries, and nutritious organic vegetables. The farm has established itself as a frequent stop for travelers near and far so we invite you to share with us this plot of land we call "heaven".
We feature "pick your own" flowers and blueberries. Over 3 acres of perennial and annual flowers are grown for cutting - perfect for weddings, parties, other special occasions or just a time away with friends. You can make an appointment for you and your group to come out and pick or call us to discuss your flower needs.
We have been growing quality cut flowers for over fifteen years, adding new varieties every year. We plant between 7,000 and 9,000 annual flowers every year and grow them in our 30’ x 96’ greenhouse, two 18’ x 48 ‘ hoop houses and three large field plots. We also have three beds that house over 1500 perennials for cutting. Depending upon Mother Nature, we usually start cutting them mid-June through end of October.
We also specialize in growing fancy pumpkins (the kind Martha Steward features in her magazine), hard shell gourds for crafting on, small ornamental gourds for fall decorations, fall grasses and flowers for drying, lots of summer and fall sunflowers, sweet annie for wreath and swag making, unusual pods and many other interesting plants.
