Louisiana Outdoor Science and Technology Camp is held annually at 4-H Camp Grant Walker during the first week of August. LOST camp is for 7th and 8th graders and features tracks in the fields of science, engineering, technology and outdoor education. 2011 Tracks are: Energy, Outdoor Skills, Videography, Robotics/GPS, Forensic Science, Physics, Kitchen Chemistry, Recycling, Explosive Chemistry, Astronomy, Biology, ATV, Engineering, MythBusters and Super Human Senses. Each year new tracks are added. Participants are able to choose three of these tracks to participate in while at camp.
The camp is held at Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, a 50-acre campsite located near Pollock, Louisiana on Highway 8 about 15 miles northeast of Alexandria, Louisiana.
