Mission
Our mission is to encourage using Best Management Practices to conserve the natural resources essential to the quality of life for the county’s citizens, through development and implementation of technical, educational and financial assistance programs.
The Lycoming County Conservation District, formed under the Conservation District Law, is a subdivision of state government and is one of 66 Conservation Districts throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
The Lycoming District is managed by a seven member volunteer Board of Directors. Any landowner or occupier in Lycoming County is eligible to serve on the board or as a non-voting Associate Director.
